Patrycja Ciosek received M.Sc. degree in chemistry from Warsaw University of Technology (WUT, Poland), Ph.D. in analytical chemistry (2006) and D. Sc. in chmistry (2014) at the same University. Since 2007 she has been working as assistant professor at WUT. In her research she is focused on (bio)electronic tongues, multisensor systems, and applications of chemometric methods to analyze sensor array responses.

2002-2006: Ph.D under supervision of Prof. W. Wróblewski, Warsaw University of Technology

2003: Research stay at University Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy 

2003-2004:  Grant from Foundation for Polish Science for PhD students

12.2006: PhD summa cum laude in Chemistry granted by Warsaw University of Technology, based on the thesis entitled: "Potentiometric sensor arrays for classification of liquid samples"

2007: The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) award for Young Scientists (START programme)- a one-year scholarship granted each year to the outstanding young scientists of Polish nationality, upon evaluation of their academic achievement

2008: The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) award for Young Scientists (START programme)- a one-year extension of the FNP scholarship granted to the outstanding young scientists of Polish nationality, upon re-evaluation of their scientific activities in 2007

2008: Individual award granted by Analytical Chemistry Committee of Polish Academy of Sciences and Merck company for the outstanding PhD thesis

2009, 2010: WUT Grants for Young Scientists

2010: Individual award for scientific achievements granted by the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology

2010: Individual award for scientific achievements granted by the Dean of Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University of Technology

2010: Go8 European Fellowship, research stay at University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia

2011-2013: Head of LIDER project

2011-2014: Grant for outstanding Young Scientists of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education

2012: Team award for scientific achievements granted by the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology

7.2014: DSc in Chemistry granted by Warsaw University of Technology, based on the thesis entitled: "SENSOR ARRAYS (ELECTRONIC TONGUE) -

NEW CONCEPTS AND APPLICATIONS"
